![]() Of course one free game is better than no free game, but given it's $19.95 retail value that could be seen as a $19.95 Mac surcharge. That the game doesn't run on the Mac isn't necessarily Steam's fault, that they chose to include it as 50% of the "free games" they included with the controller clearly is. But, maybe they have and I don't have those games. At least map out point, run, and shoot, for several games. So that means I have to buy the Akai controller and still have the BCR2000 gathering dust (or I could sell it). My expectation was they would do the work to have it work when they shipped it. Clearly the potential is there to map out most any game, but I didn't think I was buying a programable controller that I would have to configure for most of my games. I feel more like a beta tester than just an early adopter. I've only had this controller for under 2 hours, but I can't say that it really acts like a finished product. (BTW it plays with zero lag with the mouse and keyboard). ![]() Clearly someone needs to really map out the settings. Initially it didn't work at all, but there were some controller maps that could be downloaded and a few of them did allow me to either shoot or look around but nothing else. ![]() Is it possible to just spin with the stick? With the controller - If I hold down the right track pad (the "camera" button) then I lose a lot of the lag when looking around, but I didn't expect to have to physically turn in a 360 circle to play game. If I use the keyboard and a bluetooth mouse there is barely any. Portal 2 works but there is some serious lag when using the controller. Immediately upon using the controller I did a firmware update and I'm running the steam bata build. I have OS X 10.9.5 on a late 2013 macbook pro, Processor 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 16 GB, Graphics Intel Iris Pro 1536. ![]()
